Thu. Sept. 13, 6:20 pm. International hour of prayer for Alpha - Greg Vaughn, and Pastor Dan Thiessen of Hosanna Christian Fellowship will lead this hour of prayer and praise music at Glen Cairn United Church, 140 Abbeyhill Dr. We will also pray for the victims of the attack on USA. Sept. 21 -- Visit the Let's Go to Church table at the Kanata Expo 55+ seniors' fair from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Mlacak Centre, 2500 Campeau Dr. The fair is a one-stop-shopping event for older adults - a chance to check out some of the services in our community, plus socialize with others, meet community agencies that deliver services and win door prizes. Sat. Sept. 22 1 & 3 pm. "Ultimate Veggie Kids Day" with showings of Veggie Tales videos at Kanata Wesleyan Church (behind the Canadian Tire Store). The offering will go to Operation Christmas Child.
